Finding Residential Programs

Higher levels of care for mental health challenges include a range of treatment programs and services that offer a greater intensity, frequency of contact, and/or duration compared to traditional outpatient therapy & psychiatric services. Higher levels of care for mental health challenges include (but aren’t limited to) inpatient hospitalization, residential programs, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs.

Consult with your mental health providers

If you have mental health providers, discuss with them what residential options are available. If you live with a specific mental health condition, inquire about condition-specific programs.
